Course Objectives The graduation project is a design based business model project for senior students to demonstrate all their knowledge and skills gained during their undergraduate education. I The student designers will not only be able to extend their knowledge of a particular topic, and improve and demonstrate their design skills and their ability to manage a design project but also demonstrate an interdisciplinary process required for design management discipline.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Student will be able to cover advanced design and innovation management concepts through a design based business model project.
  • Student will be able to apply theoretical and practical knowledge of the design management in a business model depending on a variety of products, services and systems combined with social responsibility, ethics, environment, energy concepts.
  • Student will be able to define design problems within their contexts and circumstances by using design management tools and devices, and to propose design and business model solutions for them within the discipline of industrial design.
  • Student will be able to take on responsibility individually to manage complex problems in industrial design and design management processes.
  • Student will be able to realize a catalog and exhibition aiming at presenting the final projects to the parties concerned.
Course Description Ability to apply theoretical and practical knowledge of the design management to a variety of products, services and systems combined with social responsibility, ethics, environment, energy issues through a complex business model.
